A little background on TDRR.
My real name is Mike, I'm 34 and live in my parent's basement. Back in 2002 I was an apprentice Boilermaker working at Rouge Steel. On October 15 that year I was severely burned by steam while working in confined space, and I haven't worked since. In the past 8+ years I've had more than a dozen surgeries. (no sympathy please)
Back in July 2010, my girlfriend and I of 8 years called it quits. That relationship produced two daughters who are now five and six: they are my life and I tend to brag about them quite often. What can I say, I'm a proud daddy.
When we split, or should I say when I was kicked out, the only option I had as far as a place to live was with the parents. At the time I couldn't afford to rent a place of my own. I am currently looking for a house/apartment in the Dearborn area near where my kids school is.
In my free time, which most of my life is free time, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love to cook, mostly on the charcoal barbecue: I make ribs that would definitely make you slap your momma. I'm always trying out new things in the kitchen.
I also love to write. I am currently working on two books: one regarding my accident and the politics involved with it, and another murder/mystery themed novel. I have three different blogs I keep listed below but this blog is exclusively for www.lovethebeaver.com. The blogs I post on the beaver website will also be found here.
My other blog address is Texts, Drugs, Rock n Roll. That blog is a hodge podge of shit regarding my accident, some comedy stuff, politics, etc. The third blog I have is top secret....sorry! That contains some very private stuff.
Big B asked me to be a contributing writer for the website so I took him up on the offer. We met on Sunday night to go over the website/merchandise and getting www.lovethebeaver.com off the ground and getting the name out there.
As for me I am single but not really interested in dating at the moment. I recently had a real life stalker and had to shut down my Facebook page and my blogs. I eventually had to call my wireless carrier and have her block from contacting me.
Talk about DRAMA.
